Our Story
We started Shaar Koo after gifting our close friends, Michelle and Tyler, a charcuterie board with a custom template for Christmas. The gift was complete with a wooden charcuterie board, a template, wine and beer pairings, and a personalized note. The joy and excitement from our friends motivated us to create Shaar Koo. Our hope is to deliver those same feelings to you. We are a family-owned business and everyone plays a vital role to bring you the best experience possible.

Daniel A
FOUNDER - COCKTAIL CREATOR - DESIGNER
Dan is an engineer through and through and enjoys helping people design and create boards for themselves, friends, and family. He perfectly crafts the templates to be easy, versatile, and beautiful. After work, you’ll see Dan opening a complex dry red wine and a creamy blue cheese while working on the next Shaar Koo design.
Mackenzie C
FOUNDER - WINE & CHEESE EXPERT - DESIGNER
Mackenzie’s interest in wine originated on a family trip to Paso Robles, CA as she fell in love with full bodied complex reds and creating the perfect wine pairings. Mackenzie has always been keen on maximizing experiences and flavors and enjoys finding the absolute best pairings for each template. She is a dancer, medical professional and our in-house expert. If it’s summer time you will see Mackenzie sipping on a crisp and citrusy Sauvignon Blanc paired with an herbed goat cheese, her favorite wine accompaniment.

LEAD DESIGNER
Carrie's creativity shines in her home and table décor. Her love for regional cuisines and wine pairings inspires her travel and home menus. In summer, she enjoys an Aperol Spritz and light dishes on her porch. In winter, she prefers Valpolicella Ripasso with hearty meals by the fire. A mother of two and a dog mom, Carrie's 12+ years of customer service experience equip her well to meet any creative needs.
